Dallas Wings Clinch 2026 Playoff Berth
Arlington, TX (Aug. 25, 2026) – With the 96-78 win over the Portland Fire, the Dallas Wings have clinched a WNBA Playoff berth and a top eight finish in the 2026 WNBA standings. Dallas is headed to the postseason for the first time since 2023 and sixth since 2016, when the team relocated to North Texas. Mathematically the Wings can finish anywhere between second and eighth. The First Round is a best-of-three series (1–1–1 format) where the higher seed hosts Games 1 and 3 (if necessary).
