Harrison Signs Multi-Year Deal with Wings

The Dallas Wings announced today that forward Isabelle Harrison has signed a multi-year deal with the team. Per club policy, terms of the agreements have not been disclosed.

Harrison, who was named the AP Comeback Player of the Year for 2019, started 29 of 31 contests she appeared in last season, averaged 8.6 points and a team high 5.8 rebounds per game. The Tennessee native set career-highs in total rebounds (13, 8/18 vs. Connecticut), offensive rebounds (seven, 8/18 vs. Connecticut) blocks (five, 5/24 at Atlanta), steals (four, at Seattle 8/8) and minutes played (36, vs. Seattle 9/8) during her first season with the Wings. She also collected three double-doubles, two of them consecutively. Currently playing for Virtus Segafredo in Bologna, Italy, the former Tennessee Lady Vol is averaging 19.4 points and 11.1 rebounds per game and has tallied five double-doubles in eight games played.

“Isabelle enjoyed a productive first season in Dallas and I think the best is yet to come for her in a Wings uniform,” Dallas Wings President & CEO Greg Bibb stated. “She will add talent and depth to our front court, and I expect her offensive game to continue to expand to compliment her outstanding defense and high-energy style of play.”

“We are very excited to extend Izzy’s contract for the long term,” said head coach Brian Agler. “We are expecting great things from Izzy. We were impressed by what she showed a year ago and want to build on that. She’s playing exceptionally well in Italy now.”
