Count It Coalition is a partnership between the Dallas Wings, Texas Legends, Dallas Mavericks and Mavs Gaming to promote greater civic engagement in elections, raise awareness and increase DFW voter access and participation.

Civic Engagement

The Dallas Wings are committed to promoting civic engagement including voter registration, encouraging voter participation, and sharing election information and resources.

Key Election Dates:

  • Saturday, May 7 – Joint Election
  • Tuesday, May 24 – Primary Runoff Election
  • Saturday, June 18 – Joint Runoff Election
  • Tuesday, November 8 – General Election

Commissioner’s Cup:

The theme for this year’s Commissioner’s Cup is Civic Engagement players, teams and the league will unite to jointly raise awareness throughout the tournament. The Dallas Wings have teamed up with This is Project Texas for our local community efforts.

This is Project Texas will be present at a number of our Commissioner’s Cup games. Stop by their table in the concourse to learn more about the work they do!

WAYS TO VOTE IN TX

Request to vote by mail in TX

You can only vote by mail if you meet one of the following requirements:

  1. Out of the county on Election Day
  2. Disability
  3. 65 years or older
  4. Confinement in jail

VOLUNTEER ON ELECTION DAY

  1. Bring refreshments to poll workers and voters standing in line.
  2. Help shuttle the elderly and those without access to a car to a polling station.
