Tiffany Jackson Memorial Scholarship Fund

Led by the Dallas Wings, in partnership with the New York Liberty and Los Angeles Sparks, are proud to announce the creation of the Tiffany Jackson Memorial Scholarship Fund. Starting in 2024, a $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to a senior female student-athlete from Duncanville High School, Jackson’s alma mater.

About Tiffany Jackson

Tiffany Jackson-Jones (April 26, 1985 – October 3, 2022) was born in Longview, TX where she played basketball at Lincoln High School in Dallas, TX and later attended Duncanville High School. While at Duncanville HS, she won the Class 5A state championship. Tiffany played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns, earning All-American honors. She was also the only player in program history to record 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 300 steals and 150 blocks in their career.

Tiffany was selected Number 5 pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft by the New York Liberty. She went on to have a 9 year WNBA career playing for the Liberty, Tulsa Shock, and Los Angeles Sparks. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. Returning to finish final season with the Sparks, Tiffany retired in later that year.

Tiffany returned to her alma mater, Texas University, as Assistant Coach in 2018. She was named Head Coach for Wiley College in April 2022.
