Wings Tip-Off 2018 Season in Front of Fans

The Dallas Wings opened training camp today, tipping off their 2018 campaign. Today’s camp kicked off with an open practice for season ticket holders. The season ticket holders were the first fans to see the 2018 Wings in action, and they were treated to an autograph session following practice from members of team.

“Today was good for us to get to know each other defensively,” said Head Coach Fred Williams. “I like the size that we have in the post. We have a good combination of inside and outside players, but having multiple players with good size helps us on the defensive end.”

Training camp will continue for the next 19 days. The team will play three preseason games, including a home game against Las Vegas on May 13.

The Wings tip off their season in Phoenix on May 18, with the home opener scheduled for May 20 at 2 p.m., against the Atlanta Dream.
