Wings Take on Washington Sunday

The Dallas Wings (6-12) take on the Washington Mystics (4-12) Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. CT. The game will be streamed on Twitter.

The Wings and Mystics battled in overtime the last time the two teams met, the first OT game for the Wings since 2017, with Dallas coming out on top 101-92. Arike Ogunbowale still leads the league in scoring, averaging 21.3 points per game to be exact, and in the Wings last outing she became the third fastest player to reach 1,000 career points at just 51 games. Cynthia Cooper and Seimone Augustus are the only two players to have done it faster.

Allisha Gray had herself a historic outing the last time Dallas was on the floor too. The South Carolina product collected 26 points on a career best nine makes. Since moving into the starting lineup on August 12, Gray is averaging 15.0 points per game, 5.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists. Additionally, she’s scored 20 or more three times and been the team’s leading scorer three times in that time frame.
