The Dallas Wings (9-18) are in Minneapolis, Minn. to take on the Lynx (13-15) Thursday, August 22 from Target Center. The game is slated to tip at 7 p.m. and can be viewed on WNBA League Pass.

The Wings pulled off an 89-86 victory the last time these two teams met back on June 30. Rookie of the Year candidate Arike Ogunbowale led the Wings with 19 points and has been on a tear ever since with 14 double-digit scoring games. The Notre Dame product has poured in 20 or more in nine of those contests, including a career-high 35 points against the Los Angeles Sparks. Ogunbowale currently ranks as the seventh leading scoring in the WNBA at 16.4 points per game and has the best assist average (2.7) among top 10 scorers. In the month of August, the rookie is the league’s leading scorer at 22.6 points per game and is shooting 44.7 from the field and 47.1 percent from beyond the arc. She’s also averaging 8.6 points in the fourth quarter of August games, the most of any player by almost 2 entire points.

Allisha Gray has bested and then tied her career-high point total in the past two outings and her 22 points per game mark her as the league’s fifth leading scorer in that span. She’s also shooting a smoldering 52.2 from the floor and 46.7 from the three-point line in the Wings’ two last showings.

The Lynx are coming off an 81-71 loss at the Los Angeles Sparks.
