Wings Rise Over Dream

Atlanta, Georgia (July 30, 2022) – The Dallas Wings (13-16) took flight over the Atlanta Dream (12-18), 81 – 68, at Gateway Center, Saturday evening.

Wings forward Kayla Thornton paved the way for the Wings, scoring a career-high 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Arike Ogunbowale, also notched 21 points and dished out a season-high eight assists and tied her career-high with five steals. As a team, the Wings recorded 17 steals, a season-high and the most for the team since moving to Dallas.

Center Teaira McCowan added 14 points and led the Wings with 14 rebounds for her second consecutive double-double.

Dallas stays on the road to face the Chicago Sky (22 – 7) on Tuesday, August 2, at 8:00 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Southwest Extra and CBSSN.
