Wings Overwhelm Sparks, 116 – 88

Los Angeles, California (August 14, 2022) – The Dallas Wings (18-18) ended the regular season by defeating the Los Angeles Sparks (13-23), 116 – 88, at Crypto.Com Arena, Sunday evening.

The Dallas Wings lit up the scoreboard in the second quarter, scoring a franchise-high 41 points. The Wings 66 points at the end of the first half is also the most since the team moved to Dallas and ties the second highest scoring half in the WNBA this season. Much of the scoring was facilitated by guard Ty Harris, who had a career-high tying 18 points and 11 assists (career high) to record her first career double-double.

Four other Wings players reached double-figures, led by Marina Mabrey, who netted 27. She was joined by Teaira McCowan (24), Kayla Thornton (15) and Allisha Gray (14). As a team, the Wings recorded a season-high in points (116 – tied for second most in the WNBA), assists (33) and field-goal percentage (65.6%).
