Wings Overseas Roundup – Jan. 14
Arike Ogunbowale
Ogunbowale continues to be a scoring machine overseas by netting 19 points in an 86-67 win at Botas last weekend. Notre Dame’s all-time leading scorer has averaged 25.1 points per game this year for OGM Ormanspor and is on pace to be one of just three players, and the only guard, to score 600 or more points in both the WNBA and overseas during the 2019-2020 seasons.

Karlie Samuelson
Samuelson is looking to find her stroke again in 2020 after ending 2019 on fire from beyond the arc. She was unable to find pay dirt in Avenada’s 93-39 victory over Bembibre in limited minutes but played an important role on the defensive end, swiping two steals in an addition to an assist.

The Volunteer Virtuoso has played string music seven times from deep since heading overseas and is shooting an impressive 41.2 percent since from downtown.
