Arike Ogunbowale
Ogunbowale would have loved for 2019 to drag on for a while longer as she finished with a blazing hot performance against Adana Basket and Hatay. The Milwaukee Maven dropped a professional career-high 43 points in a 106-84 win, sinking an overseas high seven threes from beyond the three-point line. She followed that up by scoring 29 points on an efficient nine of 15 from the floor and eight of 10 from the free throw line in a 93-82 victory.
Imani McGee-Stafford
The former Texas Longhorn scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds in limited minutes for the Perth Lynx in their 76-59 loss to the UC Capitals. McGee-Stafford has averaged 10.6 points per game and 8.4 rebounds per game despite dealing with an ankle injury that sidelined her early in the season.
Megan Gustafson
Gustafson began the second part of NKE-Csata’s season with her sixth double-double overseas in a 98-58 win over PINKK-Pesci. She scored 19 points and grabbed ten rebounds, and her 8-of-10 shooting from inside the arc raised her average up to 76.9% from that distance since going overseas.
Karlie Samuelson
It took 20 games overseas for the Stanford Sniper to finally finish a game without a made three-pointer, but she still scored five points in an 84-53 win versus Mann Filter. Samuelson has made 43 threes since heading to Spain this season.
Kayla Thornton
Thornton had a double double-double week as the KB Stars went one and one. In an 86-65 loss to Shinhan Bank, she scored 13 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. The UTEP Miner followed that up by striking gold with an 18 point 14 rebound double-double in a 68-67 victory over Samsung.
Glory Johnson
Johnson will return to play the first week of the New Year.
Isabelle Harrison
Harrison had her third straight game with double-digit points in a 70-57 loss to Schio last week. The Nashville native recorded 10 points and grabbed eight boards to go along with her three steals.
Kristine Anigwe
Anigwe had back-to-back 20-point games for Izmit as the team went one and one last week. The Arizona Ace had double-doubles in both games as well, grabbing a career high 19 rebounds in an 82-76 loss to Kayseri and 12 rebounds in an 81-69 victory versus Cankaya. Since going overseas, she is averaging 11.3 rebounds per game.
