Arike Ogunbowale

Ogunbowale and OGM Ormanspor defeated Kayseri 69-62 last Wednesday to improve to an impressive 11-2 overall and 5-1 in Eurocup play. The Irish Idol’s 14 points means she has scored at least 10 points in 11 of the 13 games she has played overseas and is just one point shy of 300 in Europe.

 

Imani McGee-Stafford

Imani McGee-Stafford returned to play on Friday, December 6th in a 79-69 loss to the Adelaide Lightning. She put up her first double-double overseas this season, dropping 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, and followed that up with another double-double on Sunday with 11 points and 11 rebounds in a 72-63 loss to the Melbourne Boomers.

 

Megan Gustafson

NKE-FCSM Csata continues to roll this season after winning a nail-biter at Uni Gyor 76-74 last week. Gustafson was once again a major part of her team’s success, recording her fifth double-double overseas with an efficient 20 point and 11 rebound performance, going eight of nine from the field and four of six from the free throw line.

Karlie Samuelson

Samuelson’s Owls continue to establish themselves as a force in the Spanish Liga and Eurocup, defeating Gipuzkoa UPV 82-58 to move to 15-2 on the season. Samuelson contributed with a perfect three for three from the field, including one from beyond the arc, snagged two steals and dished out 2 assists.

Kayla Thornton

After losing to Woori Bank 62-56 on Monday, Thornton’s KB Stars won at Blueminx 69-68 and at OK Shoot 93-75, dropping an 11 point and 13 rebound performance and following it up by dropping 22 points and grabbing seven boards. Her 22 points was the sixth time the 2018-19 Foreign Player of the Year has scored 20 or more points this season and the KB Stars moves to 8-2 on the year.
