The Dallas Wings (6-10), fighting to stay in the playoff picture, take on the Los Angeles Sparks (12-4) Wednesday, September 2 at 7 p.m. CT on the CBS Sports Network.

Arike Ogunbowale, the League’s leading scorer, is the team’s leading perimeter scorer and the Irish Icon ranks third in the WNBA in three pointers made with 36 on the season to lead the WNBA’s three-point leading offense. The Wings have knocked down 141 threes this season and have made 10 or more three pointers seven times inside the Wubble. Ogunbowale’s 22 points per game average is the second most a Wings’ player has accumulated in a single season in franchise history.

Rookie of the Year contender Satou Sabally, 2017 WNBA Rookie of the Year Allisha Gray and Most Improved candidate Marina Mabrey assist Ogunbowale in the Wings offensive effort.

Sabally is coming off two straight double-doubles, giving her four in the first 12 games of her career and the former Oregon Duck is one of only five rookies ever to average 12.8 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per game and 2.4 assists per game. Joining Lisa Leslie, Tamika Catchings, Candace Parker and Breanna Stewart. To add to even more impressive company, Sabally joins MVP Yolanda Griffith in 1999 and seven previous Rookie of the Year award winners (Catchings, Parker, Tina Charles, Nneka Ogwumike, Chiney Ogwumike, Breanna Stewart and A’ja Wilson) as some players who have averaged 12 points and seven rebounds in their first season. She also leads the team by averaging 7.8 rebounds per game, the only rookie to lead her team in rebounding per game this season.
