The Dallas Wings (5-13) return home to face the Phoenix Mercury (8-8) Saturday, July 20 at College Park Center. Fans can tune in to Fox Sports Southwest Plus for the 7:00 p.m. tip. Dallas will also celebrate Inspiring Women Night against the Mercury, a night dedicated to female community leaders who have made an impact across Dallas-Fort Worth. The evening, powered by Texas Capital Bank, will include a pregame speaker series headlined by Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall. Texas Capital Bank Executive Vice President, Director of Community Development Effie Dennison will lead the discussion. Pregame and in game promotions include an Acme Brick Block Party outside of Gate 4 of College Park Center starting at 5 p.m. , MOM Crew halftime dance performance and a luggage tag giveaway.
Having already topped the Mercury once at home this year, the Wings are looking to repeat the result of June 20 when Dallas overpowered Phoenix 69-54. The Wings held the Mercury to the fewest points in a game since the organization moved to the DFW Metroplex. Kaela Davis has scored at 10 or more points in three of the last five games, including a season-high 13 points on July 9. Arike Ogunbowale, the league’s leading rookie scorer for the month of July, has averaged 16.4 point this month and is the ninth leading scorer in the league.
