Phoenix, Arizona (August 12, 2022) – The Dallas Wings (17-18) fell to the Phoenix Mercury (15-20), 86 – 74, at Footprint Center, Friday night.
Veteran Kayla Thornton led the way for the Wings, as after scoring the 1500 point in her career on a first quarter bucket, she netted 14 points, including a perfect 6-for-6 in the first half. She was joined in double figures by Allisha Gray (13), Ty Harris (11), Marina Mabrey (10) and Isabelle Harrison (10).
Dallas ends the regular season against the Los Angeles Sparks (13–22) on Sunday, August 14, at 6:00 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Southwest Extra and NBA TV.
