Wings Fall to Atlanta in High Scoring Season Opener
The Dallas Wings fell 105-95 to the Atlanta Dream in its season opener Sunday night. Allisha Gray and Arike Ogunbowale led the scoring for the Wings, both collecting 19 points respectively. Isabelle Harrison collected her ninth career double-double, notching 18 points and 10 rebounds, the first time a Wings player record a double-double on opening day since the franchise came to Dallas.

Rookies Tyasha Harris and Satou Sabally each reached double-digits to push the Wings to its highest scoring game since the 2018 season (A 107-102 victory over the Las Vegas Aces). Harris dropped 13 points and four assists in her WNBA debut while Sabally netted 11 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists.

The Wings take on Sabally’s college teammate Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty on Wednesday, July 29 in Dallas’ next contest. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be aired on CBS Sports Network.
