Wings Defeat Fever, 96 – 86

Indianapolis, Indiana (July 24, 2022) – The Dallas Wings (12-15) defeated the Indiana Fever (5-25), 96-86, at Hinkle Fieldhouse, Sunday afternoon.

Arike Ogunbowale led the Wings with 22 points and five assists, including seven points in the final 1:30 in the game to close out the win for Dallas. She was joined in double-figures by Allisha Gray, who surpassed 2,000 career points finishing with 16 points, Teaira McCowan, who put up 17 in her return to Indiana, and Kayla Thornton, whose 11 points gave her double-digit points in back-to-back games for the first time this season.

As a team, Dallas also dished out 24 assists, led by Ogunbowale, who had five. The Wings also rejected six shots, including two by guard Allisha Gray, giving her 19 on the season, the second most among players six foot tall or less.

Dallas returns home to battle the Washington Mystics (17 – 11) on Thursday, July 28, at 7:00 p.m. CT on Bally Sports Southwest Extra and CBSSN.
