With the Wings’ first regular season game against the Atlanta Dream slated for Friday, May 24, today’s practice was the last of the Dallas Wings 2019 Training Camp. The practice, which was held at TCU’s Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena, was similar to the previous days of camp with the level of intensity. The Wing’s continued to fine tune its defense and offense with intersquad 3-on-3, 4-on-4 and 5-on-5 and participated in the same activities against the practice squad.
WHAT WAS SAID
“I feel good. We’ve been working hard. It’s been a super competitive camp, and that’s a good problem to have. Everybody’s competing for spots and I feel good about training camp and how competitive it’s been. ” – Tayler Hill
“I truly believe Coach Agler is pushing us to be a more mature, championship team. He’s paying attention to the details and he’s making sure we’re doing the right things, we’re in our spots. I commend him. It’s going to take work. We’re a younger team, he has a lot of pieces to work with, but I think we’ll get there. ”– Isabelle Harrison
“Like most people, it’s difficult to get out of their comfort zone. I think we need people to step out of their comfort zone on their play as much as we need it to be in the leadership roles too. We’ll keep challenging, We’ll keep moving and I’m not one to give up on things. So, we’ll keep moving down the road here.” – Head Coach Brian Agler
