Aerial Powers has been named Dallas Wings Overseas Player of the Week for the week of December 6-December 12. After missing the first six games of the season, Powers has come back strong scoring double figures in the past three games.
On December 6, she recorded her first double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Her grand performance led the team to their ninth victory of the season.
Currently, the team is 10-1 and sits second in the league after recording win number 10 last night in a close battle against team Nadezhda O., 66-64. Up next for Powers and team Fenerbahce is team Familia Schio on Dec. 20 before breaking for the holidays
