Arike Ogunbowale moved to eighth on the WNBA rookie scoring list with 32 points in the Dallas Wings (10-22) 102-72 loss to the Connecticut Sun (23-9) Wednesday night at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Ogunbowale, a frontrunner for Rookie of the Year, is the only rookie ever to have three consecutive 30-point games and she joins Angel McCoughtry, Epiphanny Prince and Cynthia Cooper for the second most consecutive 30-point games in WNBA history. At 575 career points, she is three points away from tying Diana Taurasi for No. 7 all-time and 19 points away from Tamika Catchings at No. 6.
Rookie Megan Gustafson added eight points, including the first three-pointer of her WNBA career, Isabelle Harrison chipped in seven points and Kristine Anigwe contributed six points.
The Wings close out the final road trip of the season with a Friday night contest against the Washington Mystics at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be live streamed on Twitter.
