Gray Goes for Career High in Loss to Lynx

The Dallas Wings (6-12) fell to the Minnesota Lynx (13-5) 88-75 Friday night.

Dallas veteran Allisha Gray topped all scorers with a career high 26 points. Since moving into the starting lineup on August 12, Gray has led the Wings in scoring three times and has also scored 20 or more three times. The goggled Gamecock got her points on a career high nine buckets on just 15 attempts to go along with four assists.

Katie Lou Samuelson came up just one-point short of tying her career-high 12 points. She filled the stat sheet coming off the bench with three assists, three rebounds, a steal and a block. It’s the second time this season she’s had at least 11 points, three assists, three rebounds and a block and she joins Satou Sabally as the only other Dallas player to do so multiple times this season.

The Wings turn to the Washington Mystics (5-12) on Sunday at 3 p.m. CT. The game will be streamed on Twitter.
