Arlington, TX (May 26, 2025) – The Dallas Wings continue their four-game road swing at the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night. Tipoff at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., is slated for 6 p.m. CT, with the game airing on KFAA 29 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Out-of-market fans can stream on WNBA League Pass. Ron Thulin and Fran Harris will have the call.
The Wings (0-4) and Sun (0-4) both are in search of their first win of the season and are coming off setbacks to the Atlanta Dream. Dallas lost in Atlanta on Saturday afternoon, 83-75, despite five players finishing in double figures, including NaLyssa Smith with 13. Connecticut fell at Atlanta on Sunday, 79-55, with Marina Mabrey scoring a team-high 12 points.
Tuesday’s game marks the return of former UConn star Paige Bueckers to the Nutmeg State. Bueckers led the Huskies to their 12th NCAA Championship last month before being selected first overall by the Dallas Wings in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
Following Tuesday’s game tilt, the Wings wrap up their four-game road swing at the Chicago Sky on Thursday. Tipoff at Wintrust Arena is set for 7 p.m. CT on KFAA29 and Prime Video.

- Rookie Head Coach Battle … Seven WNBA teams have first-year head coaches and two will meet on Tuesday night at Mohegan Sun Arena in search of their first win. The Wings’ Chris Koclanes and Sun’s Rachid Meziane go head-to-head, looking to put one in the win column.
- Fastest to 500 … Arike Ogunbowale tied Diana Taurasi as the fastest player in league history to reach 500 career 3-point field goals made, coming against Minnesota on 5/21 in her 198th career game. Ogunbowale is also the first player in franchise history to reach the 500 made-3s milestone.
- Bueckers Benchmarks … Paige Bueckers recorded her first career double-double with 12 points and 10 assists against Minnesota (5/21), making her the fastest player in over a decade to record a game with 10+ pts and 10+ ast, the second rookie in franchise history to record a pts-ast double-double and third player in league history to record a pts-ast double-double within their first three games.
- A welcomed addition … After helping Landes win the LFB championship in France, Dallas Wings center Luisa Geiselsöder reported to the Wings on Sunday. Geiselsöder had been temporarily suspended while finishing with Landes, with the WNBA officially designating her on Sunday as active. Geiselsöder is the 6-4 starting center for the German National Team which is coming off its first ever Olympic Games appearance. She was drafted by the Wings in 2020 but remained in Europe. She was signed by the Wings this past February.
- Return to Texas … Several of the new faces on the Wings roster have strong Texas ties. DiJonai Carrington and NaLyssa Smith both played collegiately at Baylor, while Smith is a San Antonio native. Tyasha Harris was drafted seventh overall by the Dallas Wings and spent her first three professional seasons with the team before making her return this offseason.
- New season, new faces … Dallas announced its official 2025 roster on May 15, consisting of just three returning players from the 2024 season (McCowan, Ogunbowale, Siegrist). The Wings’ new additions span from its draft class and free agency signings to the front office, where several key leadership additions mark a new era in franchise history.
- #WingsUp … The official hashtag for the 2025 season is #WingsUp, to celebrate the franchise’s 10th season in North Texas. The Wings have advanced to the WNBA Playoffs five of their first nine seasons in Dallas, including reaching the Semifinals in 2023.
- Wings expand distribution for Local Broadcasts … Two months after naming TEGNA station KFAA in Dallas-Fort Worth, its exclusive local broadcast partner, the Wings are expanding their broadcast reach through additional agreements with TEGNA, Gray Media, and Corridor Television. The agreement will triple the team’s local TV footprint, bringing free, over-the-air Wings games to 6.3 million households across 12 markets during the 2025 season. The agreements position the Wings as a league leader in geographic reach and among the best in number of households with access to local broadcasts
