Arlington, TX (Feb. 23, 2024) – The Dallas Wings have signed Sevgi Uzun to a training camp contract, the team announced today.
Uzun is a native of Turkey and plays professionally in her home country for Fenerbahce. The 5-10 guard currently averages 9.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and .593 shooting over 23 games for the first-place team in the KBSL. Uzun was the 2023 Turkish League Domestic Player of the Year while playing for Botasspor Adana. She averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 2.1 steals during the 2023 season. Uzun was a 2022 All-Turkish KBSL Honorable Mention selection and was a member of the 2021 Turkish KBSL Championship squad, while also winning multiple regular-season titles with Fenerbahce.
