Dallas Wings Sign Kalani Brown

Arlington, TX (June 29, 2023) – The Dallas Wings have signed Kalani Brown to a rest of season contract under the League’s emergency salary cap hardship provision, the team announced today.

The Wings qualified for the provision with injuries to Lou Lopez Senechal and Diamond DeShields and only having nine available players. Brown will be remain with the team until the return of either Lopez Senechal or DeShields.

Brown originally spent training camp with the Wings and then signed a hardship exception contract on May 30 before being released on June 28. She has appeared in 12 games with the Wings and averaged nearly eight points and seven rebounds in over 21 minutes of action. Brown has recorded three double-doubles this season including setting her career high in points (21 vs. LAS 6/14) and rebounds (15 vs. PHX 6/7).
