Arlington, TX (Jan. 18, 2024) – The Dallas Wings have announced the promotion of Zak Buncik to Assistant Coach. Buncik joins fellow Wings assistants Brandi Poole and Courtney Paris who return for their second season under Head Coach Latricia Trammell.
Buncik has been a part of the Wings basketball staff since 2022, serving as the team’s player development coach the past two seasons. Prior to that appointment, he ran Zak Buncik Player Development, a local private sector player development program, where he worked with members of the Wings and severalNBA players.

From 2008-2018, Buncik served on the men’s basketball coaching staff at UT Arlington under Head Coach Scott Cross.
