Dr. Kaitlin Bokhari, MD

Dr. Bokhari is board-certified in general surgery and specializes in breast surgical oncology. After completing her general surgery residency, Dr. Bokhari completed fellowship training in breast surgical oncology. She utilizes advanced surgical techniques, including nipple-sparing and hidden scar procedures, with close attention to both oncologic and cosmetic outcomes. She provides in-office ultrasound-guided biopsy and aspiration procedures, when indicated. Dr. Bokhari believes in partnering with every patient and their care team to provide a comprehensive treatment plan that is tailored to their individual needs. Just as no two women are the same, she believes no two cancers are the same. Getting to know her patients personally and honoring their priorities is a primary goal during treatment. She has a very personal commitment to caring for breast patients, as she and her family carry the BRCA1 gene and have been patients themselves. In addition to performing surgery for malignant and benign diseases of the breast, she has a particular interest in counseling those who are high-risk for developing breast cancer based on family history or genetic conditions.

In her spare time, Dr. Bokhari enjoys cooking new recipes for her family and friends, yoga, and being outdoors.
