DFW Bigger Than Basketball Coalition

The DFW Bigger Than Basketball Coalition is a collaboration of North Texas professional basketball teams including the the Dallas Wings, Dallas Mavericks, Mavs Gaming, and the Texas Legends working together to address racial inequities and disparities and issues facing our communities across the North Texas region.

How We Came To Be

The DFW Bigger Than Basketball Coalition was originally created as Count It Coalition, a nonpartisan coalition of North Texas professional basketball teams committed to promoting local and national civic engagement, raising awareness and increasing voter access and participation.

It has evolved to encompass more than civic engagement issues, and now addresses racial inequalities, disparities and other critical issues across all communities.
