Wings Unable to Stop Lynx on the Road

St. Paul, MN – The Dallas Wings hit the road for a one game road trip to round out the first half of the season against the Minnesota Lynx, falling 100-74.

The Wings held on strong in the first half of the game, keeping the Lynx alert. In the first quarter the Wings went on a run to pull within four, before the Lynx came back to end the quarter 10 points ahead, and take command of the game.

Skylar Diggins-Smith led the team for the afternoon, scoring 23 points. She also led the team in assists with nine, tying a season high. Diggins-Smith shot perfect from the line going 3-for-3. It marked as the fifth straight game she has shot 100% from the free throw line.

Glory Johnson led the way in total rebounds with eight. She also recorded 16 points, with two steals and one assist, while Allisha Gray scored 13 points with two steals.
