Wings End Back-to-Back Road Series in Indy

Arlington, TX –  The Dallas Wings will end their back-to-back road trip against the Indiana Fever inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. CST.

THIS SEASON AGAINST INDIANA
Saturday night’s contest against the Fever will be the second time the Wings will go up against the East coast team in a week. It will also mark as the 62nd time the two franchises will meet, and the first time they will meet at Bankers Life Fieldhouse this season. Last game the Wings defeated the Fever 89-62 on their home court of College Park Center. The 27-point feat marked as the largest margin of victory the team has recorded this season against an opponent.
Karima Christmas-Kelly and Glory Johnson had a historical night, notching career marks. Christmas-Kelly registered 27 points, a new career and season high, leading the team to their third win of the season. Johnson recorded her 1000th career WNBA rebound recording eight boards for the night with five points.

DISHING OUT
The trio of Skylar Diggins-Smith, Karima Christmas-Kelly and Saniya Chong are dishing it out in helping their team score. Skylar Diggins-Smith leads the way for the Wings in assists. On 5/20, she hit a season high dishing out eight. She currently ranks in the top five in the league in assists. Karima Christmas-Kelly and Saniya Chong have recorded are tied at second for the team. With the total assists, Chong is now leading all rookies in the category.

The Wings will return home for a three-game home stint staring June 6. They will face the Washington Mystics first, followed by a face-off against the 2016 WNBA Champions Los Angeles Sparks on June 9 and the Minnesota Lynx on June 11.
