Breanna Lewis has been named Dallas Wings Overseas Player of the Week for her outstanding performance the week of March 20-28. This is the third time she has been tabbed the award this overseas season.
Lewis recorded 35 points and 19 rebounds with 63 minutes played in two games. Her best performance of the week came last Saturday against team Enea AZS P, where she helped lead the team to a big win 71-59, with 18 points, and 8 rebounds.
This past Wednesday, the Wings 2017 rookie ended her first overseas season against team AZS UMCA, recording 17 points and 11 rebounds, giving her, her eighth double-double of the season and making her the top rebounder for the night.
She completes the year as the second leading scorer and top rebounder for the team, averaging 15.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.
Lewis will enter her second season with the Wings and in the WNBA this April. She is expected to join the team on April 29 at the open of training camp.
