Glory Johnson Scores 22; Wings Fall Short To Fever

Indiana, IN– Glory Johnson recorded her second double-double of the season with 22 points and 13 rebounds as the Wings couldn’t hang on, falling to the Indiana Fever, 91-85.

The Wings scored a total of 53 points in the second half to stop an 11-point deficit from the Fever. With over a minute to play in the fourth, Skylar Diggins-Smith hit a jump shot to put the team within three. But Indiana was unstoppable scoring four unanswered points, in the final 38 seconds, to take the win.

The Wings finished the night shooting over 80 percent from the line. It was the fourth time this season, they have shot over that percentage.
Karima Christmas-Kelly and Diggins-Smith combined for 31 points, recording double figures for consecutive games. Christmas-Kelly ended the night with 14, while Diggins-Smith scored 17.
