Dallas Wings to Hold Draft Day Party

Arlington, TX., April 5, 2016 –  The Dallas Wings will hold their first Draft Day Party on April 14 inside their new home, College Park Center on the University of Texas of Arlington campus.  The event will give fans and special guests an inside look on who the team will select in the WNBA Draft. Doors open at 5 pm and the festivities begin at 5:30 pm. Sportscaster Gina Miller will serve as emcee for the event.

The event is open to the public and will allow access and insight into the team’s build up to its inaugural season in Dallas.

During the evening, attendees will be able to view General Manager, Greg Bibb and Head Coach, Fred Williams inside the war room selecting the Wings first, second and third round picks of the WNBA Draft. The Wings this year currently hold the fifth pick in the first round and the 18th and 30th overall picks.

Highlights of the night will include the unveiling of the 2016 inaugural season home and away uniforms. All-Star Guard Skylar Diggins and hometown superstar Odyssey Sims will be present to model the new threads.

The open house will also allow prospective season ticket holders to get a first-hand look of available seating for the 2016 season.

The Dallas Wings tip-off their regular season home opener May 21 against the San Antonio Stars at 7:30 pm inside College Park Center, a state-of-the-art 7,000-seat arena conveniently located on the campus of The University of Texas at Arlington.
