ARLINGTON, TX., August 27,2016 – The Dallas Wings announced today the team has signed guard Tiffany Bias for the remainder of the season. Bias joined the Wings on July 18 on a seven-day contract.
With three games as a Dallas Wing, Bias is averaging 5.3 points per game with 9.8 minutes played. Against Atlanta on July 22, she scored a career high of 10 points, going 3-for-4 from the field.
Bias began her WNBA career with the Phoenix Mercury as the 17th overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft. While with the Mercury she played in 32 regular season games and appeared in 6 WNBA playoff games, winning a WNBA Championship with the team in 2014.
The 5-7 guard played collegiately at Oklahoma State University. In her junior and senior campaigns, she received honorable mention All-America honors from the Associated Press. In her career, she scored 1,623 points, eighth on the school’s all-time list, while recording 295 steals, which ranks third in school history and ninth all-time in the Big 12 conference. Bias was a three-time All-Big 12 selection.
Bias and the Wings return to action this Sunday against the Chicago Sky for their Back to School Day presented by Texas Life. Tip-off is set for 3:30 pm.
