Arlington, TX – The Dallas Wings announced today their community caravan for the 2017-18 youth basketball season. Staff members of the organization along with Lightning the mascot will soar throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth community, by attending girls youth basketball games as part of their youth basketball initiative.
For the next 16 weeks, the Dallas Wings will travel to high schools around the Dallas Metroplex highlighting matchups as their “Games of the Week.” While there, the team will perform in-game activations that will consist of giveaways and opportunities to win ultimate prizes, like a Skylar Diggins-Smith autographed jersey. Winners will be recognized as the organization’s “Teams of the Week,” which will be announced on dallaswings.com.
The Dallas Wings community caravan takes flight this evening, as they will be traveling to the city of Dallas, TX to attend the James Madison high school game against Seagoville high school. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
